We are two Registered Nurses with 10+ years of experience with both geriatric and end of life care. We base our care on compassion and individualized needs in order to deliver the best experience possible. We work closely with families in order to maintain open lines of communication with emphasis on education along the way. We are open to new ideas and methods of accomplishing these goals with our patients and families. We are dedicated to providing the same care that we would give to our own family.
Medication administration is a pinnacle of patient care. We ensure administration of medications as prescribed and collaborate with family and physycians regarding medication adjustments/suggestions that may benefit the overall well-being of our patients.
We are committed to respectful care and cleanliness of our residents with their dignity always in mind. At no point should someone be without proper supplies to keep them sanitary and comfortable. These basic practices greatly reduce the risk of skin breakdown and infection.
We offer meals catered to patient preferences. We keep in mind the patient's ability to make preferances known while maintaining safety. Nutritional supplementation is also available for patients if/when needed.
As caregivers, we recognize the importance of assisting our patients while engaging in meaningful daily activities. We are committed to encouraging patients to enjoy recreation within their abilities, to enhance their daily experiences.
